With the legalization of hemp production in Texas in 2020, many producers have been interested in the potential of adding this crop to their operation.  In response, the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, Agricultural Economics Department obtained funding through the Southern Extension Risk Management Education Center to deliver producer oriented resources and information on the legal and economic considerations for the production of hemp in Texas.  Information in the video series includes: basic overview of hemp production, important legal and regulatory considerations, economic considerations from budgeting and price outlooks to crop insurance options and individual financial planning services.  Additionally, we have included and continue to build a list of other useful resources.
