Emmy Kiphen obtained a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness in 2003 and a Master of Education in Agricultural Education in 2004, both from Texas A&M University.  During her course studies, she received certificates in International Business from Mays Business School and Texas Secondary Teaching in Agricultural Production.  Upon graduation, she was employed within the Department of Agricultural Economics at Texas A&M University and began working with Texas Cooperative Extension as an Extension Associate in 2006.

Her works focus on developing distance educational material for the cooperative business sector throughout the state of Texas.  Mrs. Kiphen pays special attention to creating interactive web-based learning modules for cooperative directors, both new and old.
