Chrystol Thomas-Winston, Ph.D. is an assistant professor and extension specialist for community economic development in the Department of Agricultural Economics. She is an experienced applied economist with responsibilities for developing, implementing, and evaluating programs aimed at strengthening challenged communities. Prior to her career in higher education, she worked as an economist at the Central Bank of Barbados and the Inter-American Development Bank.
