Registration

Fees – Please refer to workshop description for fees. Workshops have a regular and late registration deadline. Late registrations will incur an additional $50 late fee. No registrations will be allowed after the late registration deadline. Payment must be submitted with a credit card using the Web Portal.

Confirmation/Communication – Confirmation emails are sent from the tax.workshops@aceware.com email within 5 business days of receiving the registration. Always check your spam/junk folder if you have not received communication from us. Please add lisa.patterson@ag.tamu.edu and tax.workshops@aceware.com your allowed email addresses. If you have any questions, contact Lisa Patterson at lisa.patterson@ag.tamu.edu or call 979-393-0888.

Cancellation/Transfer/Refunds – In the event that the workshop needs to be cancelled by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, you may transfer to another class or receive a full refund. If you are not able to attend a workshop, you may transfer to a webinar in the same calendar year. No refunds will be issued once the course materials have been mailed, emailed, or downloaded. No refunds will be issued for no-show participants. Refunds are subject to a processing fee. Any requests for transfers or refunds must be received by emailing lisa.patterson@ag.tamu.edu before the workshop begins.

Content/Course Materials – The agenda, presenters, and schedule may be adjusted to better meet the needs of participants. Course materials are included in the registration fee and are available in printed and electronic formats. Printed materials will be available at the workshop location for in-person workshops. Please make sure that your Web Portal Profile has the correct mailing address. Since printed materials for webinars are sent through media mail, it takes almost three weeks for them to be received. If you register within two weeks of the workshop, please choose an electronic copy of the book, so that you will have access to it during the webinar.

In-Person Workshops

Lunch – Lunch is provided for in-person workshops. If you have dietary restrictions, please notify the Tax Workshops office two weeks before the scheduled workshop.

Facility – The temperature in the classroom may vary, so please plan accordingly. You are welcome to bring sodas or snacks, since these will not be provided. People with special needs should contact the Tax Workshops office three weeks prior to the event, so that needs can be addressed.

Audio/Video – Participants may not take video or audio recordings of workshop sessions. Phones must be on vibrate or silent. By registering for the workshop, you consent to be photographed or videotaped.

Continuing Education Credit

Provider – We are an approved continuing education provider for: IRS (#NXR57), Texas State Board of Public Accountancy, (#000139) and the State Bar of Texas (#7013). We report CPE credit to the IRS, State Bar of Texas, and the CFP Board (through Land Grant University Tax Education Foundation).

Receiving full credit – Please refer to the workshop description for the available credit hours. To receive full credit for an in-person workshop, participants must sign all roster sheets. If a participant arrives late or leaves early, the time will be noted on the sign-in sheet and the credit hours may be affected. To receive full credit during a webinar, participants must answer three polling questions per credit hour. No partial credit will be awarded. Please note that only learning content portions of the workshop qualify for continuing education credits.

Certificates – Certificates are issued electronically upon the completion of credit hours and evaluation. Certificates should be received within 10 days of workshop completion. Once the certificates have been emailed, they will also be available through the Web Portal.
