Dr. Anders Van Sandt is a Postdoctoral Extension Associate in Community Economics and Business Development. He is located in the Department of Agricultural Economics at Texas A&M University. Dr. Van Sandt’s extension and research efforts revolve around promoting rural economic development by exploring urban-rural linkages, entrepreneurship, and interdependencies between local industries. His current research agenda involves using limited-access firm-level data through the Texas Federal Statistical Research Data Center. His professional affiliations include the Regional Science Association International and the Agricultural and Applied Economics Association.
Dr. Van Sandt has a B.A. in Economics from Linfield College and a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Natural Resource Economics from Colorado State University.
