Evaluating Economic Opportunities
Description: This workshop helps communities to understand, assess, and target economic development initiatives based on current economic strengths. The course discusses static and dynamic measures of regional economies, potential benefits, and costs of development strategies, and measurement of economic impacts. Participants will understand the interpretation and straightforward application of quantitative development tools.
Target Audience: Community leaders
Length: 2-6 hours, depending on coverage desired
Cost: Facility costs, additional costs based on data requirements
